Breakfast at Chowabungga

Our first breakfast together in Chowabungga Cebu. Best breakfast so far! I really love how they present their food. An omelette wrapped around the rice with tapa, dried fish and tocino on top.

Cebuana girls

After 3 years, I finally met my Cebuana friends! Felt like I’m still in high school. Di pa rin sila nagbabago. So we went to Stellar with Flo, Jeph and her brother Jethro and my sister Jette and watched Korean horror movie “The Legend of Ghosts”. The Stellar has 6 to 7 rooms and each room have snuggy sofas with clean blankets. It costs P250 per person (one movie). It was kinda expensive but it was worth every penny! I miss the other FOREVERSZ! Can’t wait for our grand reunion, kailan pa kaya yun? Na-miss ko na toh! Sa uulitin! :)

SM Cebu and Ayala

Our first day in Cebu! Lunch date with Ate Bing in Ayala. I have no pictures with her on our lunch date because she’s a camera shy. She always turns her face away from the camera. Huuhuu. Ang ganda naman niya super! Heehee. Enjoyed our girl chats and the food! My gulay, I forgot the name of the restaurant, it starts with “k”, something like “Kudad”? Ewan! Haha! Babalikan ko yon! Then ate dinner with his husband Tito Bruce.

What a productive day. I just finished working on my plates in Arch 2. Thank God I was given more time to work on the exercises I've missed. I'm gonna submit the exercises with excuse letter attached on Tuesday. I don't want to get sick again! Ugh!

Reminscing

My favorite part of the Swan Princess.

Classes have been suspended for one week due to heavy rains brought by hanging "habagat" or Southwest Monsoon. Since Wednesday was a productive day and I only have one more plate to work on, I decided to reward myself by watching movies. I've been downloading and watching 90's movies lately. Movies include Jumanji, Pocahontas, Anastasia, The Lion King and Sleeping Beauty. Other non-90's movies that I'm currently downloading are Definitely, Maybe and Ramona & Beezus. I don't know, these past few days was raining so hard and it was gloomy outside and it's making me feel in a sombre and reminisce my childhood. So I watched The Swan Princess yesterday. I was teary-eyed and on the verge of crying. We used to watch this over and over again in Oman when we were little kids. It's been nearly 10 years, I think, since the last time I saw The Swan Princess. By the way, I love the songs in this movie, so catchy!

We miss the Sun

It's been a week since it started raining so hard. I could still remember when typhoon Ondoy hit Metro Manila 3 years ago and how catastrophic that day is. And yeah, I even wrote it on my journal! It was on September 29, 2009, I was watching CNN News that time in Oman. But this day is worst! Accrued rainfall today has now surpassed Ondoy's rainfall. Classes has been suspended for two days already. Several barangays have been affected by floods and landslides. Thousands of Filipinos are homeless and without food, clothing and water. I feel so guilty that I can do nothing to help my dear Filipinos. I feel so guilty about feeling so good, I have everything I need, a strong shelter, food, water, sanitation. Oh dear sun, we miss you! Hope you can come out tomorrow.
